Southern Hosiery Mills has been in business since 1945 as a hosiery
manufacturer. The founders, Bill & Pete Menzies, started the company over 50
years ago beginning with an order from the United States government. Since the
beginning, Southern has employed many gifted people with many talents. In the
early 1960's, Phil Mullins came on board and developed the Knitted Fabrics
division and early 1970's the Windsor Fabrics division.
Throughout history, Southern Hosiery has been known for its outstanding quality
and dependable service as manufacturers and we look to the future pushing ahead
with innovation to continue these characteristics. We take pride in our work and
stand as one of the top producers in the US.
